Project objectives

The SEO strategy focused on addressing long-standing technical issues that were limiting organic performance, while strengthening visibility across key service and location-based searches. Alongside technical improvements, we optimised the website’s structure, speed and crawlability to create a stronger foundation for sustainable organic growth and improved search engine performance.

Project highlights

1

We carried out a comprehensive technical SEO audit across hundreds of legacy URLs to identify issues affecting crawlability, indexation and site performance. This provided a clear roadmap for prioritising fixes and improving the website’s overall search visibility.

2

A large-scale clean-up was undertaken to resolve redirect chains, duplicate content issues and crawl traps that were wasting crawl budget and creating unnecessary complexity. These improvements helped search engines access and understand the site more efficiently.

3

The website’s internal linking structure was reworked to create clearer pathways between key pages, improving navigation for users while helping distribute authority more effectively across the site. This strengthened the visibility of important service and location pages.

4

Working closely with the development team, we delivered clear, prioritised technical recommendations supported by detailed documentation. This streamlined implementation and ensured improvements could be rolled out accurately and efficiently.

5

Content was refined and expanded to better align with how users search today, targeting high-intent terms such as family-friendly restaurants, kids eat free offers and location-specific dining searches. This improved topical relevance and helped increase visibility for valuable commercial queries.
