The keyword “pest control maintenance contract London” recorded a substantial ranking improvement, moving from position 31 to position 2. This places the term prominently on the first page of search results and significantly increases its potential to generate relevant organic traffic and commercial enquiries.
The results speak for themselves
More than 6,000 invalid structured-data items were cleaned up. We also fixed broken internal links, removed unnecessary 404 pages and resolved indexing issues.
The site structure was reorganised to make important services easier to find. Insects and termites were added to the main navigation, supported by two new service pages and relevant redirects.
We also rewrote the homepage around emergency pest control searches and introduced GA4 conversion tracking for forms, phone clicks and email links.
The results
The technical work increased the site health score by 19 percentage points, giving future content a stronger platform from which to rank.
Traffic and engagement also improved. Sessions increased by 62.77%, while engagement rate rose by 59.68%.
Early keyword movement showed commercial potential. “Pest control maintenance contract London” climbed 29 positions to reach position 2.
Competitor research also identified 1,900 untapped keywords, creating opportunities to expand content around services such as wasps, fleas, spiders and moths.
