As always, Apple unveiled some exciting new devices and software that are sure to take the world by storm, including the new MacBook Air, iOS 17, and the highly-anticipated Vision Pro headset.

Apple’s new operating system update, iOS 17, has many new features. The NameDrop feature makes it easier for users to share contacts between iPhones. iPadOS 17 comes with customisable lock screens and interactive widgets, and Standby mode turns a charging phone into a home hub. Widgets are now available on Apple Watch, and they provide quick access to information from your favorite apps. Widgets can be added to the Today View or the Home Screen, and they can be customized to show the information that you care about most.
Several apps have also been redesigned for watchOS 10. The Activity app has been updated with new features, such as a new workout view and a new heart rate recovery metric. The Messages app has also been redesigned, and it now supports inline replies and threaded conversations.
The first beta of watchOS 10 is now available to developers. A public beta will be released in the coming weeks.
tvOS 17
Apple also revealed tvOS 17 at its WWDC 2023 event. The update includes a number of new features, including FaceTime, a new Control Center, and the ability to use an iPhone to find a lost Siri Remote.
You can wirelessly connect to an iPhone or iPad and use the device’s camera and microphone. This means that you can use your Apple TV to make video calls even if you don’t have a webcam.
The new Control Center on tvOS 17 is similar to the Control Center on iOS and iPadOS. It provides quick access to frequently used settings and controls. The Control Center can be customised to include the buttons and switches that you use the most.
Finally, If you lose your Siri Remote, you can open the Find My app on your iPhone and tap on the “Lost Mode” button. This will cause the Siri Remote to emit a sound, even if it’s turned off.
TvOS 17 is available now as a developer beta. A public beta will be released in the coming weeks.
Other Announcements
Lastly, AirPods Pro 2 guarantees a better audio experience with its “Adaptive Audio” feature.
